Aad is founder and managing partner of HRS Business Transformation Services where he advises business leaders and managers of some of the world’s leading companies. For more than 22 years Aad has been working internationally supporting his customers (including for instance ABInBev, Amgen, Johnson & Johnson, HP, Microsoft, Rabobank) with a unique combination of professional competencies in the field of Business Consulting, Change Enablement, People Development and Executive Coaching.
Key in his approach is supporting executives, senior leaders and managers of organizations in how to successfully lead change and grow their business success. Over the years Aad has been working internationally with a variety of companies, across different cultures, and with many cross-cultural teams. His pragmatic approach, strategic business sense and interpersonal relationship skills put people at ease and inspire his clients to get the most out of themselves and their teams.
He has developed a unique and specific methodology to create executive and leadership team alignment on the vision, direction, strategy, and desired change, and on how to translate this into focused execution (check out our team alignment approach). Aad supports leaders and managers in accelerating strategy execution and change by focusing on effective ways to engage teams and employees cross-company. After graduation from university (Master in Public and Business Administration) Aad has built his whole career in the field of leadership and leading change: Researcher and Course leader (Master of Public Management, in collaboration with the University of Maryland) at the Twente School of Management, Senior Trainer/Consultant in leadership and change management, Director and Practice leader of the HR Solutions practice at KPMG Consulting, Owner of his own consulting firm. Aad provides high added value through conceptual and methodological expertise combined with strong facilitation and personal coaching skills.
He is a popular keynote speaker on leadership alignment, cross-cultural leadership, and related topics. Over the years he has published various articles, and he appears regularly as featured Author on the Sustainable Business Forum and Human Capital League.
Aad is Dutch and lives with his family in Brussels. He loves his wife, his two sons and their cat Minie. Apart from his work Aad is a big fan of cooking, sports (mountain biking) and traveling to meet people and enjoying other cultures.
